Many people in Sussex haven't seen a hedgehog in years.

Sadly, this isn’t surprising. Hedgehog numbers in the UK have dropped by 40% in the last 10 years and they are now at risk of becoming extinct. 

As gardens are cemented over, and pesticides are killing the insects they depend on, our hedgehogs are finding it harder to find enough food to survive.
