We need our wild places more than ever before
We are lucky to live in such a beautiful county; from the High Weald to the South Downs and miles of coastline. But it is clear that nature is in trouble.
Developments and pollution are destroying wildlife habitats, and climate change threatens to disrupt the natural systems on which nature and all of us depend.
Your views are crucial
Thousands of people in Sussex respond to our annual survey, allowing us to understand what matters most to you.
Last year, answers to one question showed that 97% of respondents were concerned about litter and plastic pollution. As a result, our Wild Coast Sussex project is now taking direct action to remove plastic from our local seas.
